INDX is one floor with six dressed sets in South Jayanagar, Bengaluru, and the whole thing runs on a small amount of craft repeated well. Nothing is posted as a vacancy right now. What follows is an honest description of the work, and the address to write to if it sounds like yours.
Three disciplines keep it running.
The rig does not move between the sets, so the skill is not in rebuilding it every morning. It is in the fact that it is already patched, levelled and rolling before a guest sits down. A booking is judged on whether the audio needed rescuing, the framing drifted, and how fast the cut came back.
These are the disciplines that work involves. None of them is an open position. Read them as a description of the floor, not an advert.
- Studio tech: Four Shure SM7Bs patched into a Rodecaster Pro II, a separate track per guest and four headphone feeds at individual levels, then levels that hold clean through a two-hour record without anything needing to be rescued in the mix. Cards offloaded and verified before anyone leaves the floor.
- Camera operator: Two locked-off Sony FX30s (a wide two-shot and a host single) running 4K 50p in 10-bit with timecode synced across both. Framing that survives a whole episode without a nudge, and a vertical 9:16 crop that still holds when the clips get cut out of it.
- Editor: A synced project file in, a full episode and four short vertical clips out, with captions and thumbnails. The turnaround matters as much as the cut: the raw material is on the client's drive the same day, and the edit is what they are waiting on.
A studio tech is on site for every booking, so whoever is on the floor is the person the client remembers. That is the bar.

What the day looks like.
No guesswork about the shape of a shift. This is the sequence every booking on the floor runs to, and the part of it you would be responsible for depends on which discipline you work in. The floor is open Mon to Sat · 09:00 to 20:00.
You arrive
Load-in is by lift from the ground floor, and two cars park free. Drop your bags in the green room.
The set is already dressed
Your set was chosen and lit to the brief before you got here. Setup and teardown happen inside your slot, not on top of it.
Levels and framing
Four SM7Bs checked into the Rodecaster on separate tracks, both FX30s framed and timecode-synced. You hear yourself in the cans before the first word.
Recording
Roll. A studio tech is on site the whole time watching levels and cards, so nothing is lost to a dead battery.
Backup on the spot
Cards are offloaded and verified while you pack up, before anyone leaves the floor: raw multitrack, raw 4K and room tone.
You leave with the files
Everything onto your drive the same day, with a synced project file so your editor opens it and starts cutting.
